I spent an unforgottable week in the Eastern Finland looking for wild brown bears with my friend. During the week we managed to find several bears of which most disappeared very quickly deep into the woods. With these two young siblings we got to spend a bit more time. They were around 1,5 year old at the time and they had recently left their mother, to survive by themselves in the big world.

This is one of my personal favorite photos ever. Not only because of the photo but because of the memories behind it, and the fact that we managed to photograph them outside of the commercial hides where it’s very easy to photograph the baited animals.
